"ATOM COMP WINS THE ACROSS PARIS BICYCLE RACE"

Bastien Delrot of the Roubaix Lille Metropole team won a cross-town race against a moto-messenger through the streets of Paris. Bastien Delrot agreed to this cross-town challenge for the launch of the new 195 grakm Atom Comp super performance clincher tire.

At 6:30pm charged down the Champs Elysees swapping the lead with his motocycle challenger. The goal was to see if a bicycle or a motorcyle could cover the 5 kilometers faster.

The race was broadcast live from the streets of Paris over the web at www.acrossthetown. At Interbike the viewing crowd watched an urban street ballet as the moto and the cyclist sped down the avenues of Paris while respecting the rules of the road.
